A lovely par 4. The narrow fairway falls away to swales on both the left and right. The left side sees two fairway bunkers that make the approach testing to say the least. A shallow but wide green awaits so there is still work to do to get your par. Hit it short, two pot bunkers await. Hit it long, it’s in the gorse. You have to choose your club and trust it.
A copy of the dress code for the course is displayed in the pro shop but it is emphasised that the following forms of dress are NOT acceptable:-
JEANS, TRACKSUITS, PRINTED TEE-SHIRTS, VESTS, LEGGINGS, ‘SHORT’ SHORTS, TRAINERS OR FLIP FLOPS.
In the clubhouse, ‘smart casual’ is the order of the day, but please no “distressed or torn” jeans, overalls or working clothes, caps, waterproof clothing or golf shoes in the lounge. There is a small “spike bar” on the way into the lounge where the rules are more flexible.
