The final par 3 and another cracker. A large green that slopes from back to front. With sand and grass bunkers short, left and right. Out of bounds looms to the rear. It’s a well-earned par…if you can get it.

What to wear at ELGC

A copy of the dress code for the course is displayed in the pro shop but it is emphasised that the following forms of dress are NOT acceptable:-

JEANS, TRACKSUITS, PRINTED TEE-SHIRTS, VESTS, LEGGINGS, ‘SHORT’ SHORTS, TRAINERS OR FLIP FLOPS.

In the clubhouse, ‘smart casual’ is the order of the day, but please no “distressed or torn” jeans, overalls or working clothes, caps, waterproof clothing or golf shoes in the lounge. There is a small “spike bar” on the way into the lounge where the rules are more flexible.
