The longest hole on our course meanders slightly to the left. A perfect tee shot must avoid the fairway bunkers whilst favouring the right side to give a view down to the green in the distance. But beware, more trouble awaits further down the fairway that eventually leads to a long narrow green. It slopes from back to front and is guarded at the entrance by bunkers both left and right.
A copy of the dress code for the course is displayed in the pro shop but it is emphasised that the following forms of dress are NOT acceptable:-
JEANS, TRACKSUITS, PRINTED TEE-SHIRTS, VESTS, LEGGINGS, ‘SHORT’ SHORTS, TRAINERS OR FLIP FLOPS.
In the clubhouse, ‘smart casual’ is the order of the day, but please no “distressed or torn” jeans, overalls or working clothes, caps, waterproof clothing or golf shoes in the lounge. There is a small “spike bar” on the way into the lounge where the rules are more flexible.
