A tree-lined hole that dog-legs gently to the left. Don’t be intimidated by the woods to the right off the tee although a tee shot should favour the right side whilst avoiding the bunker and a tricky bank. Meanwhile, if you are too far left, you run the risk of being blocked out by the trees. A well guarded Mackenzie green, with pot bunkers short, left and right awaits ahead.
A copy of the dress code for the course is displayed in the pro shop but it is emphasised that the following forms of dress are NOT acceptable:-
JEANS, TRACKSUITS, PRINTED TEE-SHIRTS, VESTS, LEGGINGS, ‘SHORT’ SHORTS, TRAINERS OR FLIP FLOPS.
In the clubhouse, ‘smart casual’ is the order of the day, but please no “distressed or torn” jeans, overalls or working clothes, caps, waterproof clothing or golf shoes in the lounge. There is a small “spike bar” on the way into the lounge where the rules are more flexible.
