Horse Chestnut – Hole 18

Choose a Hole

Horse Chestnut

Pro's Tip

A relatively short final hole, but can be a card wrecker if not played correctly. A tee shot must favour the left side, as any shot heading right, will catch the slope and either find itself behind the large horse chestnut or its cohort of smaller trees to its right. As you’d expect the final green is surrounded by some mild sandy peril but it will see you finish the round. Shake hands, head off to the all-important 19th and I hope you’ve enjoyed your round at #WirralFriendlyClub

In the clubhouse, ‘smart casual’ is the order of the day, but please no “distressed or torn” jeans, overalls or working clothes, caps, waterproof clothing or golf shoes in the lounge. There is a small “spike bar” on the way into the lounge where the rules are more flexible.
